This Privacy Policy explains how Chang Thai Tour and Travel Phuket (“we”, “us”), a licensed tour agency (TAT Tourism Business License No. 34/03373) located at 5/6 Moo 9, Chaofa East Rd., Chalong, Mueang Phuket 83130, Thailand, collects and uses personal information when you use changthaitourandtravel.com or contact us.
What we collect
- Contact details you send us — your name, phone number and message content when you contact us by WhatsApp, LINE, Facebook, phone or in person to ask about or book a tour.
- Booking details — tour name, date, group size, hotel or pickup point, and any special requirements you tell us so we can operate your tour.
- Website analytics and cookies — we use cookies and similar technologies (including Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager) to understand how visitors use our site. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies in the cookie banner, and change your choice at any time via “Manage consent”.
What we do not collect
We do not process card payments on this website. Bookings are confirmed in person, by bank transfer or by payment on arrival, so we never see or store your card details through this site. If you book one of our partner tours through Klook or GetYourGuide, your payment is handled entirely by that platform under its own privacy policy.
How we use your information
- To answer your questions and arrange the tours you book
- To contact you about pickup times, weather changes or itinerary updates
- To meet legal requirements that apply to licensed Thai tour operators, including insurance records
- To improve our website and services (aggregated analytics only)
Sharing
We share booking details only with the parties needed to run your tour — for example boat operators, drivers or activity venues — and only what they need (name, group size, pickup point). We never sell your personal information.
Retention
Chat messages and booking records are kept as long as needed to operate your tour and to meet Thai legal and insurance requirements, then deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
