The fun, beginner-friendly option. Skip the wax step and start from a beautifully pre-drawn batik pattern, then bring it to life with vivid natural dyes. Perfect for first-timers, families with kids, and anyone short on time.
⭐ Full Batik Masterclass — 3–4 hours
The complete traditional experience: sketch your own design, outline it in hot wax with a real canting tool, then paint it with natural dyes under the guidance of a master artisan. Message us on WhatsApp for today’s masterclass price and available seats.
How it works
- Sketch your idea on paper, then transfer it to the fabric
- Stretch the fabric tightly on a wooden frame
- Draw with hot wax using the traditional canting tool — the “magic” resist that holds the colours apart
- Paint with natural dyes and watch the colours flow
- Fix the colours so they set permanently into the fabric
- We finish it for you — wax removal and drying — and you walk out with your own 15×15-inch handmade artwork

Frequently asked questions
Do I need any art experience?
None at all. The Colour Painting class starts from a pre-drawn pattern, and in the Full Masterclass the artisan guides you through every step. Over 10,000 guests have painted with us — most had never touched batik before.
Can children join?
Yes — the workshop is one of Phuket’s best family activities. Children from age 4 can paint alongside you, and kids’ aprons and child-safe tools are provided.
Do I really take my artwork home the same day?
Yes. We fix the dyes, remove the wax and dry your piece before you leave, so your finished 15×15-inch batik goes home with you — it packs flat in any suitcase.
How do I book?
Message us on WhatsApp with your preferred date and group size, or drop by the shop near Chalong Circle. Same-day and next-day bookings are usually fine.
