The Racha & Kahung Beach sailing yacht catamaran tour by Nikorn Marine departs Chalong Pier, Phuket, around 08.30 and spends the whole day cruising to Kahung Beach on Coral Island and on to Racha Island, sailing home into the sunset at about 18.30. Speedboats get you there fast; catamarans make the getting-there part of the holiday. • 18.30: Arrive at Chalong Pier and transfer to your hotel.

Is this tour right for you?

We recommend it for couples, honeymooners, anyone prone to motion sickness, and travelers who see the boat as the point rather than the taxi. It is a ten-hour day, so it suits people happy to settle into island time.

What should you bring?
