Here’s how we actually sell this tour across our counter: it’s the recovery day. Most Phuket holidays have a rhythm — a big 12-hour Phi Phi or Phang Nga day, then a day when nobody wants a 6 a.m. alarm but sitting by the hotel pool feels like a waste. That’s this trip. The Khai Islands are only about 20 minutes offshore, the crossing is the gentlest speedboat ride Phuket offers, and you’re back with half the day still yours — pool in the morning and islands in the afternoon, or islands in the morning and a massage by three.

07.30–08.15 / 11.30–12.15 — pickup from your hotel; coffee, tea and snacks at the pier.
09.00 / 13.30 — depart Asia Marina Pier by speedboat to Khai Nai.
09.20 / 13.50 — Khai Nai Island: swimming, snorkeling and beach time in shallow, calm water.
10.30 / 15.00 — Khai Nui Island: snorkel over the best little coral reef of the three islets, full of colourful fish.
11.45 / 16.15 — Khai Nok Island: the postcard white-sand beach, with fish feeding near the shore.
13.00 / 17.30 — back at Asia Marina Pier and transfer to your hotel.

Morning or afternoon — which should you pick?

Morning, if you can. The sea is usually calmest before noon and you reach the beaches before the midday rush of boats. The afternoon run has its own reward though: by your last stop at Khai Nok the day-trip crowds are thinning and the light turns soft and golden. If avoiding crowds is your main worry, tell us on WhatsApp — we watch which departures are running full and will steer you honestly.

What should you bring?

Just the beach basics: swimwear under your clothes, towel, reef-safe sunscreen, hat, and a dry bag for your phone. Small cash is useful for beach chairs or drinks on the islands. With only a 20-minute crossing, seasickness tablets are rarely needed — but morning departures are the calmest if you’re sensitive.
