Why choose the Bamboo Island version?

Because it swaps the busiest third island for the quietest. Khai Island is fun but crowded; Bamboo is protected national-park sand with far fewer boats and a huge living reef within swimming distance of the beach. Photographers and snorkellers consistently rate it the best stop of the day. Frequently asked questions

Do Phi Phi tours run during monsoon season?

Usually yes, June to October included — but the ride is rougher and stops can be reordered or substituted when the west swell is up. Ask us on WhatsApp about actual conditions in the days before your trip; we answer honestly.

Can you swim at Maya Bay?

No. Since its restoration, Maya Bay is a walk-in beach only — no swimming inside the bay. Your water time comes at Pileh Lagoon and Bamboo Island, which most guests end up preferring anyway.

Is the national park fee included?

No — it is collected in cash on the day, on top of the tour price, as with every Phuket operator. Message us for the current amount so you can bring the right cash.

Is Bamboo Island good for snorkelling?

Yes — a large living coral reef sits just off Bamboo’s beach with dense tropical fish, and the island itself is quiet, undeveloped national-park sand. In high season the shallows are calm enough for confident kids too.
