Hanuman World Phuket is a rainforest zipline park in Kathu, booked through our licensed Chalong agency. Named after the Monkey God of Thai legend, it offers guided treetop courses in three lengths — from a short 12-platform taster to a full 42-platform adventure with abseils, sky bridges and a skyrail. Every option includes first aid, insurance, a wilderness walk and in-zone hotel transfer. Sessions run at 08.00, 10.00, 13.00 and 15.00.

Which zipline package should you choose?

This is the decision we help guests make at the counter every day, because the three courses are genuinely different days out — not just “more of the same for more money.” Here’s the honest breakdown:

• FH3 — the taster (about 30 minutes, 12 platforms). Three ziplines, an abseil, a sky bridge and a spiral staircase, plus a 20-minute wilderness walk. Perfect if you’re nervous, short on time, or bringing children who want a first taste without committing to hours in a harness.
• FH2 — the mid-length (about 1 hour, 28 platforms). Seven ziplines including a dual line you can ride side by side, an abseil and three sky bridges. Our most popular middle ground — enough to feel like a proper adventure without exhausting you.
• FH1 — the full adventure (about 2 hours, 42 platforms). Fourteen ziplines, two abseils, four sky bridges, five spiral staircases, a dual zipline and a skyrail, with a 400 m signature line and a 40 m abseil. This is the one for confident thrill-seekers who want the lot.

Our rule of thumb: first-timers and families with younger kids love FH2 or FH3; adrenaline chasers should book FH1. All three include first aid and insurance, the wilderness walk and round-trip transfer within the in-zone area. Tell us your group and we’ll steer you to the right one.

Honestly — what if you’re scared of heights?

Let’s not pretend otherwise: this is a high course, and the platforms are up in the canopy. But here’s what reassures most nervous guests. You’re clipped to a safety line the entire time by trained staff, you never unclip yourself, and there’s a guide with you throughout. Plenty of people who “don’t do heights” surprise themselves — the trick is to start on FH3, do the first zip, and see how you feel. If it’s too much, a shorter course means you’re back on the ground quickly. If you love it, you’ll wish you’d booked FH1. Message us and we’ll talk it through honestly before you commit.

What time should you go?

Sessions start at 08.00, 10.00, 13.00 and 15.00. We usually recommend the earlier or the late-afternoon slots — the rainforest is cooler, the platforms are quieter, and you’re not sweating inside a harness through the midday heat. Drink water before you arrive.

What should you wear and bring?

Closed sports shoes (no sandals or flip-flops), light breathable sportswear, and tied-back long hair. Bring water, sunscreen, insect repellent and a little cash. Leave loose valuables behind — you don’t want a phone slipping out on a zip. A strapped action camera is fine and gets great footage.
